POST 7: Changes to my study programme

Chemistry and pharmacy is a career that covers a lot of knowledge of science, in the curriculum the main subject is chemistry but they also delve into the area of biology, physics and mathematics.

I think the study plan is very complete, so it requires a lot of study time, in my experience I'm a bit disorganized haha, so at the end of the semester I study much more than the formal hours, which generates a lot of anxiety and stress for me.

About the faculty, I have not been able to get to know it completely, I can say that it's small but I consider that it's more than enough, I also really like the paintings on the walls but I wish there were more sports and green spaces

Most of the technology is concentrated in the laboratory, I think that it's of a high level adapted to what each career demands, that is why there are still maaany instruments that I don't know.

Due to the teaching methods I still don't have a clear perception because practically everything has been online and I feel that there are subjects that with this situation still require too much, I feel that I have learned less than I would like but in the same way there are also subjects that have been taken in the best way, but I would have liked to have more practical classes in the laboratory, but it was not possible :p

  5. Hi! I also feel that they should have made us go to the labs more often, especially because in relation to the face-to-face classes, in all the lab classes they reduced the practical activities by half or more :(

POST 1: A country I would like to visit

Honestly, I can't decide on an exact country but one that I have always considered is Brazil, because It's looks a very happy country with great landscapes. Brazil is the biggest country in Latin America with an estimated area of more than 8.5 million km², it has 211,000,000 inhabitants where the official language is Portuguese. Thanks to its tropical climate, it has an immense biodiversity of varied landscapes, a great example is the Amazon rainforest, which contains more than 100,000 species of animals. Personally, I prefer places that stand out for their nature (I'm not a big fan of cities, hehe) that's why I think Brazil is one of those places, so I would like to see all those ones with my own eyes. For example Rio de Janeiro and also the carnivals with their culture. But despite all these things, it's also recognized for how dangerous it is, inequality and financial crises, so I would not like to live permanently there, but what I definitely would like to do i...

POST 2: The best holidays ever

I have not been lucky enough to travel or to know many places so I don't have many anecdotes but if I search among my trips it would be the one I did to the south of Chile, specifically in Pucon when I finished school at the end of the year in 2019. It was a trip in the company of my friends where we stayed for about a week in some cabins in a large and green area with many pigs walking around (very cute btw). I did many activities including horseback riding, rafting, getting to know the center and waterfalls, and many other things. The city was wonderful by nature and it was very clean, nothing compared to Santiago. I think it has been one of my best trips because I have very good memories, I had a great time with my friends, I remember that at night the stars were very clear, and also when we escaped to some heated pools at night while It was raining, it was fun but also scary because you literally couldn't see anything due to darkness so we had some scares too haha. ...
